About JPalivili Trading
How We Got Here
Since our first day in business, JPalivili Trading has been offering our customers the best selection of products at unbeatable prices. Our online store has become synonymous with quality and we ensure a continuous variety of fantastic merchandise along with unique limited edition and seasonal items that fit any budget.
JPalivili Trading has a team of young, determined entrepreneurs.
Started amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, JPalivili Trading aims at sustaining the economy by creating jobs through networking in Durban.
Spearheaded by one Melissa Karen Palivili(Founder and director), JPalivili has been helping people all around SA make an additional (in some cases ONLY) income.
Living in SA can be somewhat difficult at times with the unemployment rate INCREASING yearly.
Mel decided to tackle this head on when she lost her job in 2016, not being one to accept defeat she relentlessly moved forward selling chainstore overruns in clothing and refused to just stay home and live off others. Fast forward to 2020 she did become employed full-time but never stopped her side hustle, until covid-19 hit SA and we were pushed into a hard lockdown, yet again she lost her job due to retrenchment but things were much easier this time, her side hustle became her only hustle!
During this period a remarkable transformation took place, a majority of her previous customers were pushed into a corner without being able to work(only essential services was allowed at the time). An income was still needed and Mel had evolved her merchandise to include a wide variety of products that will attract customers guaranteed. The customers became the first agents of JPalivili when regulations allowed winter clothing to be sold!
The newly appointed agents received merch at reduced prices and marketed them to their contacts mostly on WhatsApp, sales began to roll in and profits accumulated until a sustainable income was acheived across agents!
Today JPalivili has close to 100 agents across South Africa thanks to Mel's efforts. Her extensive experience in the clothing and textile industry paired with her undergrad studies(currently 3rd year Financial accounting student) she offers JPalivili a new angle at clothing and sales by creating content to inform and upskill agents.

Do I Need Any Experience To Become An Agent?
An Agent is simply just your average day to day person like you and me, our diverse and ever-expanding group of agents comprise of: recent matriculants, mom's, dad's, student's, business owners, receptionists and the list could go on and on, chances are if you're reading this right now, you personally know a JPalivili agent and can attest to the fact that literally ANYONE can do it!
What Do I Do As An Agent?
Agents receive our merchandise at discounted prices and market them to their friends and family.
Where Do I Market Products?
You can market your products in whichever manner YOU prefer, this is one of the ways our agents benefit from the flexibility of signing up with us.
Most of our agents use the social media account they are on the most or all social media accounts they use.
WhatsApp is a requirement to sign up as an agent
How Do I Make Money As An Agent?
Here's the fun part, one of our most exciting benefits is that YOU are entitled to 100% of the profit on your sales!
Once you advertise a product your customer will pay you(as I said you are entitled to 100% of your profit so you are free to mark up products as you please. In my example, I'm just going to assume you want to make R50 on a product sold EG. Handbag from JPalivili @discounted agent rate R100 + R50 markup. Customer pays you R150 you pay JPalivili R100), you will make payment to JPalivili and confirm your order.
How Long Does It Take For An Order To Be Delivered?
Order waiting periods are generally 5 to 7 working days, with an additional 2 working days for the courier, we utilise Churchills International Courier services.
Waiting periods vary and are highlighted to you, some of our products warrant a "1 day ready to ship policy!"
Should a customer elect for shipping method "Pep Paxi" - an additional 3-5/7-9 working days
Can An Order Be Sent Directly To My Customer?
Absolutely!
We can have your orders delivered to your customers without you having to leave your home or physically do a thing besides typing to us to place your order! (easy right?!)
What are your shipping policies?
Orders are accumulated and dispatched to you to distribute to your customers, alternatively, you may request direct shipping to your customers.
